Now in my institution will no loner using TOEFL as a tool for testing the ability in English language. The new tool that currently used is English Proficiency Test or EPT. This tool is not only test on listening, grammar, and reading but also speaking, and spelling.
I think this is good because there are so many people are able to speak English but sometime they got wrong when they have to say similar words like : soap-soup-shop or shell-shall-sell, etc. Especially for people from country which not using English as their 1st language.
I hope we can get used to say EPT rather than TOEFL. Well, let's start it now...
